1 Review for “Milwaukee Steak Corner (Kepong, Metroprima)”
Warm and dim ambience greets you as you enter this steakhouse to dine in. But it is a little troublesome for the elders when they need to view the menu as the lighting is pretty dim. Those with not such a good eyesight would find this rather irritating for comfort. The interior is set with wood at certain corners. There’s a mini bridge with a small pond of water. The steakhouse offers open air dining concept as well and there’s a screen for football during those times of the season.
As the name mentions, you could probably have guess that this restaurants serves you Western cuisines and steak would definitely be one of the main courses you can choose from to satisfy your steak meat crave. However, they do not just bring you food that are simply what you normally find in other Western restaurants. For instance, their steak menu has a variety of steaks that are cooked just right in different styles from different countries. Such are The Japanese Kobe Steak, The Norwegian Salmon Steak, Braised Lamb Shank, or even of course the usual and common plain beef steak.
Besides steaks and all the meat you can eat including poultry, seafoods are available as well as a variety of pastas to choose from. It is a pretty compact menu I have to say. If you’re an undesicive and picky eater, you would have a hard time trying to choose which main dish you want to savor. Your usual seafood are crabs, prawns, escargots, & lobsters. I personally enjoyed my dish of the Spaghetti Marinara which is he seafood pasta that is serve with scallops, prawns, mussels in red sauce.
Not forgetting there’s also your old-style fish and chips with side vege dish, bread and the complementing tartar dip sauce. The fish is fresh and soft and not oily at all. (you know at times you bite into a fried dish and you can taste the oil oozing in your mouth - not an excellent experience. no worries however for this)
As for drinks I’d recommend their giant pint of fresh fruit juices - with or without milk (your wish).
